The NCRI Imaging Advisory Group

The role of the Imaging Advisory Group is to provide ad hoc advice on imaging in late phase clinical trials to CSGs and others. Specifically, members of this virtual group provide advice for trials involving imaging and conduct peer-reviews of the Imaging component of trials

The Imaging Advisory Group are holding a workshop on Monday, 26 June 2017 at the Royal College of Radiologists, London. The aim of the workshop is to help researchers who are considering using imaging in their clinical trials either as a diagnostic tool, stratification tool or imaging biomarker. Experts in MRI, PET, CT will be on hand to give advice and offer support for the development of a trial protocol. The format of the meeting is presentations from experts in standardisation and quality assessment in imaging and then a “sandpit” to allow researchers to present their ideas so that expert imaging advice can be sought. If you are interested in presenting a trial idea to a panel of experts in imaging research and receive feedback, please see Call for Proposal for Imaging Workshop for further information.  Please note the deadline for trial proposals submission is Friday 5 May 2017.
